CROSBY FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS WEEKEND IS BACK AT TOLEDO BOTANICAL GARDEN
Toledo Ohio, June 13, 2022 – Crosby Festival of the Arts, Northwest Ohio’s premier fine arts festival, will kick off June 24 and run through June 26. The festival, held at Toledo Botanical Garden, is presented by Toledo GROWs. Crosby Festival of the Arts is a highly recognized fine arts show featuring works by 160 artists from across the country. Now celebrating its 56th year, this festival is heralded as Ohio’s oldest outdoor juried art festival. Support for the Crosby Festival of the Arts is provided by the Ohio Arts Council. Proceeds from the show support Toledo GROWs and their work in the areas of education, community gardening, and urban agriculture.
Festival hours are Friday, June 24, from 6 until 9 p.m., Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 10- 4. Local food trucks will offer a variety of food all three days. Both soft drinks and adult beverages will be available as well, featuring craft beer from Earnest Brew Works. Friday evening features music by Quick Quartet. Saturday features music from Aayan Naim and the Jon Roth Band. Sunday’s music features Tim Oehlers and Chloe and the Steel Strings.
Vendors providing food and drink throughout the weekend include Deets BBQ, Eric’s Ice Cream, Frenzy on the Go, Island Noodles, Lyle’s Crepes, Mediterranean Cuisine, Olde Tyme Kettle Korn, Rosie’s Rolling Chef, Snowie Summers, and Susie’s Lemonade. Free parking and shuttle to the festival are available at the Meijer store on Central Avenue. Handicapped parking is available on the festival grounds, at the Elmer Drive main entrance.
Tickets for the Crosby Festival of the Arts are $12 if purchased online at toledogrows.org. At the gate, general admission is $15 and seniors sixty and over are $12. Children 12 and under with an adult are free. Metroparks members receive two admissions at a $6 discount, with a discount code from the Metroparks.
