Greater Toledo Community Foundation to Light the Anthony Wayne Trail Gateway to Wrap up its 50th Anniversary Celebration and Launch ToledoGivingTree.com

 


What: Greater Toledo Community Foundation Tree Lighting Event


When: Thursday, November 16

5:00 – 6:00 p.m.


Where: Summit Fire & Security, 115 S. Erie Street. (near the Libbey Outlet). See map attached.

Event area is in blue.


Why: Greater Toledo Community Foundation is lighting the Anthony Wayne Trail Gateway to the City this holiday season in honor of its 50th Anniversary and to kick off a new tradition — the Toledo Giving Tree. The community can go to ToledoGivingTree.com and find a list of nonprofit organizations to whom they can donate in honor of the holidays. 


After the holidays, the lights will be donated to the City of Toledo so that they can be used again next year. This is the last event of the yearlong GTCF 50th Anniversary celebration.
