TPD investigates evening shooting, two victims injured


TEMPLE, TX (June 14, 2022) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured two male victims this evening.


Officers were dispatched at 8:05 p.m. to the 1400 block of Canyon Creek Drive. Upon arrival, they found two males had been shot. The victims have been transported to the hospital. There was a third male with the victims during the incident, but he was not injured.


Temple police are currently searching for the suspects, which may be driving a dark-colored Dodge Dart with one broken headlight. The vehicle was last seen fleeing eastbound on Canyon Creek Drive toward 5th St. Officers believe there are multiple suspects.


This case is under investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Temple Police Department at 254-298-5500 or the Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477, where callers can report anonymously.
