Police are on the hunt for a motorcyclist after an officer was struck near the CNE grounds.
Toronto Police said on social media that an officer was struck by a motorcycle just after 7 p.m. in the Lake Shore Blvd. W.-New Brunswick Way area. They said the driver allegedly fled the scene.
The officer suffered minor injuries.

Police asked the public to be on the lookout for a white male driving a white, red and silver Ducati with a missing side mirror.

The incident happened just over an hour after a marked Toronto Police vehicle was involved in a crash that caused major delays in the Thorncliffe Park area.
Police said two vehicles collided near Overlea Blvd. and Don Mills Rd. with paramedics and firefighters responding to the scene. The injuries were only minor, police said, although roads in the area were closed as crews cleaned up.
